1. What are the consultation timings for the Ophthalmology Department?
The OPD is open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Mondayto Saturday (excluding public holidays). Emergencyeye care services are available 24/7 in thecasualty/emergency wing.

We provide comprehensive eye care services,including outpatient consultations, emergencyeye care, diagnostic procedures, and both minorand major surgeries—such as cataract, glaucoma,squint, and oculoplastic surgeries. Thedepartment also runs specialized clinics forretina, cornea, and pediatric ophthalmology,along with regular community outreach programsto ensure accessible eye care for all.
3. What facilities and equipment are available for diagnosis and treatment?
Our department is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including OCT, fundusfluorescein angiography, B-scanultrasonography, YAG and diode lasers,phacoemulsification machines, visual fieldanalyzers, and slit lamps, enabling accuratediagnosis and advanced surgical care.
4. Is there any community eye care or outreach program conducted by the department?
Yes, we actively conduct regular eye camps inKadegaon, Turchi, and Kupwad as part of ourcommunity ophthalmology initiative. Thesecamps include screening for cataract,refractive errors, and diabetic retinopathy,along with patient education and referrals forsurgery when needed.
5. What should I bring for my eye consultation?
Please bring your previous medical records, current prescription glasses, and a list of any medications you are taking. If the patient is a child or elderly, ensure someone accompanies them for assistance during dilation or tests.
